The Role
As the Insurance Team Head, you will be responsible for leading, managing, and motivating a team of insurance agents to meet and exceed sales targets. You will play a pivotal role in driving agency growth, developing talent, and ensuring high standards of customer service and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, coach, and mentor a team of insurance agents to enhance their performance and professional development
- Set clear sales targets and monitor team performance against objectives, implementing strategies to improve results
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and address performance issues proactively
- Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of new agents to build a skilled and motivated team
- Foster a positive and accountable team culture focused on collaboration and continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards
- Collaborate with senior management to develop and execute strategic growth plans for the agency
- Serve as a key escalation point for client inquiries and complex issues, ensuring timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
Key Requirements:
- Proven leadership experience in insurance sales or agency management, preferably with at least 2 years in a team lead or supervisory role
- Strong communication, coaching, and interpersonal skills to motivate and develop a high-performing team
- Solid understanding of insurance products, industry regulations, and sales processes
- Results-driven with a strategic mindset and ability to execute growth initiatives5
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or related field is preferred
